Rotary is a worldwide organization of more than 1.3 million business, professional, and community leaders in 200 countries, who make a difference in the communities in which they live. Rotarians provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill and peace in the world. Clubs are non-political, non-religious, and open to all cultures, races, and creeds. As signified by the motto Service Above Self, Rotary's main objective is service - in the community, in the workplace, and throughout the world.

Our Rotary Ogopogo Club

At over 40 members strong, The Rotary Club of Kelowna Ogopogo  is one of the largest clubs in Kelowna. It was organized in 1993. Our members develop exciting community service projects that address many critical issues, including: children at risk, poverty and hunger, urban violence, illiteracy, drug abuse, and many more.

Our President's Message

"It is my privilege to serve as President of the Rotary Club of Kelowna Ogopogo for the 2025/26 year. Our club members have a lot of fun together at our weekly meetings, our social functions and our service projects. We provide support to each other and educate each other with our personal knowledge and experience and also with the guest speakers that we have at most of our meetings. Our service projects include both “hands on” volunteer work and fundraising projects to facilitate giving money to worthy charities.

If you are interested in expanding your social network and giving back to our community with your time then please come and check out our club. You can attend as many meetings as you like before making a commitment to join the club."
